The Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Ministerial SERVICOM Unit Steering Committee and Approved SERVICOM Charter has been inaugurated for immediate take-off and implementation in the Commission.
Inaugurating the Committee at the Commission’s board room in Warri recently, Mr Jolomi Ikomi from the Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Jobs and SERVICOM noted that the challenge in most organisations is that of awareness creation, stressing that SERVICOM is about service; what the people are entitled to and should expect from any organisation.
According to him, the focus should be on the quality of service rendered, as the major drive is service delivery anchored on timeliness, professionalism and courtesy.
Mr Ikomi urged the Management of DESOPADEC to give support to the unit in the area of funding,
The Executive Director Social Services Development, on the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, (DESOPADEC), Hon. Ochor Chris Ochor has said that the Commission is in good working relationship with other public and private agencies in Nigeria.
Hon Ochor made this known recently when the Commission held an advocacy meeting with members of the Leadership Initiative for Transformation and Empowerment (LITE-Africa) and Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice (ANEEJ), in Warri.
